FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Everything about pricing, onboarding, compliance, integrations, data security, and how BunnaLink fits into an existing coffee-export operation.

Pricing

How does BunnaLink pricing work?
Pricing scales with the number of users, sites, and active modules. We send a tailored proposal after a short discovery call — fill in the form to start.
Is there a free trial?
We offer a structured pilot rather than a time-limited trial. During onboarding we run one of your real lots through the system so you can see the workflow on your own data.
Can we move between Option A and Option B?
Yes. You can upgrade from Option A to Option B at any time — we carry forward everything configured during the ECTMS work and layer on the BunnaLink platform deployment from there.

Implementation & Onboarding

How long is implementation?
Core usually goes live in 4–6 weeks. Enterprise with EUDR traceability and mobile field apps runs 8–12 weeks, mostly driven by data import and farm mapping.
What does onboarding include?
Discovery, data import from your spreadsheets or prior ERP, staff training (head office + field teams), EUDR mapping (Enterprise), and a co-pilot phase for the first harvest cycle.
Can we import data from spreadsheets?
Yes. We accept CSV / Excel exports of your clients, suppliers, inventory, and historical orders. Our team maps your columns during onboarding.
What training is provided?
Role-based sessions for managers, warehouse staff, accountants, and field agents. Recordings stay available in your tenant, and we refresh training annually.

Compliance & EUDR

What happens if EU regulations change?
Rule changes are rolled out centrally by our team. Your reports stay compliant without any engineering work on your side.
Does BunnaLink produce EUDR due-diligence statements?
Yes. Enterprise generates the DDS artefacts EU buyers and competent authorities expect — geolocation, legality proof, risk assessment, and the audit trail behind each lot.
How does farm polygon mapping work?
Field agents walk plot boundaries on the mobile app to capture polygons offline, or you can import existing GeoJSON. Polygons are validated against deforestation datasets and tied to the producer and the lot.

Integrations

Does it work with ECX and accounting tools?
Yes. BunnaLink integrates with ECX flows and exports to Peachtree, QuickBooks, or whichever accounting stack you already run.
Can I give my accountant access?
Yes. Role-based access lets external accountants log in with read-only or finance-scoped permissions, and they can export monthly journals and tax reports directly.

Data, Security & Support

Who owns the data?
You do. Your data is isolated per tenant, encrypted at rest, and exportable at any time — no lock-in.
How is data backed up?
Daily encrypted backups with 30-day point-in-time recovery. Enterprise customers can add extended retention and geo-redundant storage.
What security certifications do you have?
We run on industry-standard cloud infrastructure with TLS everywhere, at-rest encryption, and role-based access control. SOC 2 Type II is on the roadmap; let us know your requirements and we will share our latest security overview.
What happens if we decide to leave?
You can export everything — clients, inventory, orders, finance records, and EUDR documents — in open formats. We keep the export available for 90 days after cancellation.

Mobile & Field Work

Do the mobile apps work offline?
Yes. Field teams can record stock movements, production batches, and farm polygons with no connectivity. Data syncs automatically when they are back online.
Which devices are supported?
Modern iOS and Android phones and tablets. Our field app is tested on entry-level Android devices commonly used by washing stations and agents.
